Founded by Clinicians
everMind® ePST was designed and developed by Dr. James A. Cartreine of Harvard Medical School to help astronauts manage the stress of long duration space missions. NASA funded the effort as part of a larger suite of programs to help astronauts prevent, detect, and treat their own psychosocial problems and the stresses of extended space flight.
Drs. Cartreine and Zayfert teamed up to found everMind to adapt Dr. Cartreine’s programs for the general public and to distribute them widely along with other programs they have collaboratively developed.
With Dartmouth alumni advisors and faculty founders, everMind also has strong ties to Dartmouth College in Hanover, NH, USA. Researchers from The Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth were involved in tailoring the program for astronauts and have been conducting research on its real-world applications.
