Laurie B. Slone, PhD, BS
Director of Customer Success Operations
Laurie is a social psychologist who also holds a degree in marketing and management. She specializes in the use of online communications and technologies to advance evidence-based health practices.
Laurie’s ten years of leadership at the US Department of Veteran Affairs National Center for PTSD was instrumental in advancing the use of technology within the field of trauma and PTSD. Laurie's leadership was key in establishing June as PTSD Awareness Month, and to the success of a 3-year online provider training series “From the War Zone to the Home Front.” The VT National Guard awarded Laurie a Commendation Medal for her role in founding the Vermont Military, Family and Community Network, upon which her book, "After the War Zone: A Practical Guide for Troops and Their Families," is based.
