Drew Hession-Kunz, MSF
Drew is an entrepreneur, professor, finance leader, and business development driver for companies experiencing significant growth. He has been a founder, co-founder, or early lead of 7 companies, and raised venture capital for three of these. His companies included ID International, a mining collision avoidance system, i-Nalysis, a developer of X-ray Fluorescence Spectroscopy systems, and 10-Minute Resume, the second largest resume company, acquired by a Boston-area software company.
His most recent exit was Innov-X Systems, which he joined as the 6th person in, helped lead as CFO and later head of Business Development, and helped grow to $80 million in sales; the company was sold to Olympus NDT for a nine figure exit.
Publications include articles in IEEE International Proceedings and NASA Tech Briefs, among other publications, and he has been quoted in the Wall Street Journal and Boston Globe, among other publications.
He is currently a Professor of the Practice in Entrepreneurship and Finance at the Carroll School of Management at Boston College, teaching Venture Capital, Entrepreneurship, and Finance.
Drew received his MSF from the Carroll School of Management at Boston College and a BS in Physics and Chemistry University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
