Claudia Zayfert, PhD
Claudia is a clinical psychologist with over 30 years experience in mental health treatment and research.
She is a specialist in cognitive behavioral therapy, known for her commitment to compassionate and effective clinical care. As an Associate Professor at The Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth College in New Hampshire, Claudia was Director of the Anxiety Disorders Service at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, and a Researcher at the US Department of Veterans Affairs National Center for PTSD. She is author of several books and numerous journal articles relating to clinical delivery of evidence-based treatments for mental health. everMind is a vehicle for Claudia to impact mental health on a population level.
Claudia leads everMind's strategic planning and business development. In addition, she focuses on execution of everMind’s commitment to clinical science in all aspects of program development and implementation. She ensures that clinical content follows evidence-based practices and that everMind programs demonstrate clinical value in clinical research trials as well as in real-world use.
Claudia did her undergraduate work in psychology and German at Colgate University and then received Master’s and Doctoral degrees in clinical psychology from West Virginia University. She completed a Residency at The University of Mississippi Medical Center/Jackson Veterans Affairs Medical Center Psychology Residency Consortium and a Fellowship in Anxiety Disorders and Behavioral Medicine at Dartmouth Medical School. She joined the Dartmouth faculty in 1993.
